I LOVE THE HRE 840r. It is without 1 of the sickest wheel on the market! It looks killer in black, i got a set for the E 55. 20's

Why do you think HRE continues to sell it even though they have made additional models to kinda one up it.

HRE do not do a 12 spoke wheel with a flat lip. They only offer a 12 spoke wheel with a stepped lip

+1, it's kind of a cheap wheel for a F car.

Might not be exact, but they are pretty damn close.

It's not that close actually. HRE only have a 10 spoke wheel instead of a 12. THe 2 spokes makes a lot more difference than one might think.

I looked at both at SEMA, I gotta stick with HRE. The iForged are nice as well, but I'm in love with the HRE's.

HRE also makes a 12 spoke wheel. 10 and 12 does make a big difference for sure. Thats why I like the Monaco over the Revs.

The HRE 890 R's are a direct derivative of the SAC wheels I have.

I am ordering a new set from HRE to replace mine, because a) I have a slightly damaged and irreplaceable front rim, and b) I am going to 325/30-19 rear tires and need 12" rims. Also going to 245/35-19's fronts and need 9" rims.

So the fact that I have a bad rim makes for a good excuse to buy all new rims!

I'll post it when it's all together.

They look nice but black wheels for me do not cut the mustard.
