Ferraris & Lambos in London
About 30 Ferraris and Lambos went driving through central London on Sunday. Line up included several Diablos, 360 CS, F50, Countach, F355, 348, 360 Modena, 430 etc

New law introduced a couple of years back. You have to pay 8 sterling pounds, the equivalent of $16 EVERY day you drive into the city (or at least the most "congested" parts).
How will they know whether you paid or not? The city has thousands of cameras all over every entry and exit point within the "congested" areas that scan license plates of every passing vehicle. It immediately recognizes any plates that have not paid their charges for that day, and you get fined $100 immediately. Weekends and official holidays are free.
I heard that they were going to raise this charge to $40 for SUVs and gas guzzlers

Wow, thats complete BS. So you have to pay a tax in order to drive to a place that was built by taxes.
