i dont see how you can't crash a car when you're testing it. you're supposed to find the cars limits the only way to do that is to lose control of the car at some point.

glad he was ok MS is the man.

glad he is ok, I would hate to see the motorsport community lose another great driver at a young age.

Perhaps they're thinking of posting some factory N'ring times against the GT-R and GT2? Usually Ferrari doesn't like to play this game (factory times are usually only posted for Fiorano which only allows comparison with other Ferraris), but they're moving into higher volume territory with the California and may be looking for a halo effect.

Makes sense, but they even ran the 599 on the N'ring and never posted times. The only reason I know this is because W. Rohrl happened to be driving a 599 as well (i think for the rumored return of the front engined coupe) and the story is that he basically ran schumi off the road.

2 sides...

there are two sides to every coin...when you spend every minute behind the wheel running at 10/10ths, there's only so far skill and luck can take you. something has to happen eventually! then, there's the other side..when you're a professional driver, trained with years and years of experience running at those speeds in those conditions, you should know where your limits are.

anyway, it doesn't change the fact that he's a household name of racing godliness!
