Why is everyone beginning to use CF overlays on rims though when some companies are actually producing full CF rims that weigh around 6lbs?

 

To be honest Francesco...it all comes down to price. We have a wheel (C111) that has a forged center and pure carbon barrel. The 22" fitment for a Flying Spur will run you $32,000. That's a lot more than most people are willing to spend. The is an inexpensive alternative. AutoTalent, those are great-looking wheels. Really nice quality!

Very cool! Can these CF overlays be bought separately or only specified with new orders? I bought my iForged TE10s new just last year and would love to convert them to CF!
