Ferrari Recalls F430 Spider

WASHINGTON — Ferrari is recalling 1,950 of its 2005-'07 F430 Spider cars. A defect involving the hydraulic hoses for the convertible top could cause smoke and fire in the engine compartment, rendering the vehicle inoperable, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

If it's a TSB, I doubt they'll suffer depreciation.
If the car for some reason is "bought back", I'd expect prices to stay flat. Less supply.

At least steps are being taken to fix the problem in a timely fashion.

I went on the factory tour a few years ago and you wouldn't believe the amount of cars were in the 'to be fixed' area. There were cars with all sorts of issues right off the assembly line. I remember hearing about a car with 2 steering wheels! HA HA! How true this is, I don't know, but it drives the point home
