thinking to switching back to F360...
i am curious how many people that are recommending the 430 have actually driven both. I have a ton of respect for the 430 and recognize it is a better performer than the 360, but it feels bigger IMO. I like the nimble, more raw feeling of my 360. I like the 430's, but not for 50% more money...
And I chose the 360 over the audi..er, I mean Lambo. And would do it again. The G is heavy and plush. And I don't own enough Versace shirts or gold chains to own one.

360 vs. G... I'm trying to decide exactly that myself, except I haven't driven either yet so I can't give an opinion. I'm thinking of renting both for a day so I can really get the feel of both cars before I just buy one & regret not getting the other... On a side note, I've recently been looking into Spykers as well, it's something different. I live in San Diego & am often at La Jolla Cove where you see a million Porsches & every once in a while a Lambo, Ferrari, etc. & I've yet to see a Spyker in person. I've been intruiged by it ever since I saw it in the movie War.
LMAO
We can always break through stereotypes you know... For example, I'm not over 40 and/or in a mid-life crisis & I drive a 911, hahaha. Also, I'm Mexican & I don't like Hummers, Versace shirts, or having my hands covered in 10k rings, lol.
But in all seriousness, I do see your point on the guido type Lambo driver down here in SoCal, but I think I see just as many Ferrari & Maserati drivers like that as well.

I would agree with trading the G for a 360 all day long. I got the bug to get an exotic in 2006 and I also had a porsche. I was doing a ton of karting and most of the guys had ferrari's. I looked at a 430, 360 and Lambo G. All were spiders. At that time both the 430 and G was crazy dollars over msrp. After driving the 430 and 360 back to back I really did not notice that much difference on the street so I went for the car that I liked better regarding style.
Mostly I wanted a car with some racing history and a group that I could socialize with on and off the track.
I went to a couple of car shows and most (NOT ALL) of the lambo guys were more about the bling than the car. I would ask them, how do you like it ??? Answer = it cost me $220k, great wheels, ya, it cost $12k, nice sound system, ya, it cost me $20k. on and on. I would ask the ferrari guys questions and their response was more about performance, etc etc.
Anyway I ended up with a 360 and have installed a ton of mods and really love the car. I also perfer the styling of the 360 vs the 430 (too tall).
If you budget allows for a 430, and you are not looking for a spider. I would highly suggest a CS.
Both the 360 and 430 are amazing cars.
I had the opportunity to drive a scud on the track wide open and NOW THAT IS FREAKING amazing !!! !!! After driving the scud for 20 or so minutes on the track, I then took my 360 spider on and at first there was a HUGE difference BUT again the 360 with the exhaust was soooooooo sweet on the track. I have a F1 and down shifts with the exhaust note just makes you smile and the drafting is . . . . the acceleration is . . . . . No matter what you get you will be happy. Get what you like. I would go for style vs performance unless you are going to track you car a lot.
Good luck and it really is not a hard decision especially with the current prices of both the 360 and the 430's
Get the 360, install Tubi NGT with Hyper Flow cats and everytime you start the engine you will have a smile from ear to ear. The 360 is still really amazing and raw, unless you are ALWAYS on the track, the 360 is plenty of car. TRUST ME Most of us will never push any of these cars to the limit.

from my experience
360 vs G
360 much more shoulder room if you have broad shoulders, much better outward vision and more open feel, much better sound(of course thats subjective and just my opinion
G, faster, more exotic, draws more attention if you like that, a bit newer technology
I find the G cramped and when compared to my former modded 360 was no faster, lacked the hollow howl and had a cramped cabin with little storage. However, if you want speed, a modded tt G will walk all over any modern fcar in a straight line.
Great dilemna to have, hope you enjoy your choice.

I have been giving a lot of thought to the 360
as well, although I would keep my G. After hearing the sound of the 360 I know I have to have one. The 430 is a much better performer but its sound is much more low and I loved the shriek of the 360. Good luck with what ever you do
Like many others I'd suggest the 360 CS. If you don't have the economy for it but still wants a 360 you should definitly go and get one. Life's too short to drive around in cars you don't love.
I'd definitely go with a 430 over the Gallardo. I'd probably even consider a 360 over a G, although I do like the looks of the G a bit more. But go with whatever makes you happy. As nice as the G is, a friend that was very much more into Lambos (and has owned a few) drove a G and felt the 360 is a better balanced car and a more enjoyable driving experience, although he prefered the looks of the G. But after driving the 430 he felt there was no comparison...the 430 was far superior to both.

And I chose the 360 over the audi..er, I mean Lambo. And would do it again. The G is heavy and plush. And I don't own enough Versace shirts or gold chains to own one.

i've pushed both of them past their limits several times. 360 of the two is more fun. lambo's are pigs in the twisties and are twice as much work. ferrari has done a good job making a very driveable car with performance to back it up. I've owned 360's and now have 430's. You can't go wrong ever with Ferrari. 360's definately have less torque then their big brother but in the end are damn fun and will always satisfy.
lambo's resale tends to be one of the worst in the business and possibly that's why your looking as a direct trade to 360 from it.
Their resale is directly correlated to what RobertM states. Lambo owners own the cars for looks and how much they spent and Ferrari drivers own their cars to drive. Most of them couldn't tell you what their car does at 150mph around a sweeper in the mountains because they don't want them to get dirty.
"don't own enough versaces"

LMAO that's priceless and exact. This weekend someone told me at a car show
"Lambo's are the **** Stars of the Exotic World and Ferrari's are the Super Models"
Both choices are good fun cars. Your choice has to be from your inside and what you feel most comfortable in.
While most are suggesting the CS's or 430's which are both fantastic cars it sounds like your price point isn't close so don't think your settling as you know the 360 f'n rocks.......
