I would be interested in your impressions of the car considering the other cars that you own. BTW is the exhaust stock? If so, you need either Tubi or Capristo.

nberry,
I love this car. its night and day from the 911. I had 2 355's and a 360 spider so there is something about the F cars that keeps me coming back.
The F1 trans can get a little strange driving around town. at slow speeds it tends to be kinda jerky. but under WOT there is nothing like it. For those who say they would never give up there 6 speed for F1 haven't had they opportunuty to truly DRIVE one.

As far as the exhaust its stock for now. Im putting on a Cargraphic system in a week or two. I had a Tubi on my 355 and it was way to buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy for me.

Yes I love the F1 as well. I just sold my 2004 Spider to make room for the F430 which I hope to have the first quarter of 2005. The 2004 F1 was fantastic! I would never go back to a manual. I am sure when Porsche comes out with their version, over 80% of Porsche buyers will go with that system instead of manual.

If you haven't commited to the Cargraphic, see if you can find someone in your area with a Capristo - doesn't have the Tubi "boominess", and is near-stock quiet at cruise. Beautiful F1-style scream at high rpm, heavy throttle.

tdf360,
Thanks for the heads up. Having absoulutely zero experience with the capristo i cant comment on it. I have tried alot of other exhaust manufacturers on my other cars and most have fell rather short of my expectations. ie. tubi, b&b, fabspeed.
Having used cargraphic on two cayenne tt's an x50, an E46m3 and a range rover i at the very least have to try it on the 360. I drove a 355 the other day with the cargraphic system on it and it sounded great.
I'll report back with a update.

I'd love to hear your impressions. I've heard Tubi and Capristo but no Cargraphics. There must be half a dozen (at least) Capristo-equipped 360s in the South Bay (SF) area that I know of.
