458 Italia Turn Signals

Not sure if this has been discussed on the forum but the new 458 Italia has a stalkless steering wheel. This means there are windshield wiper controls, high beam and turn signal buttons on the front of the steering wheel. There are no turn signal levers or any other levers at all, weird. I think the car is amazing, but does anyone else think this would be tough to get used to?, I can't imagine using a turn signal with a button.....

Lastly on another note, what is the waiting list for these, availability, when will the first ones arrive to the US?

Here in California, we don't use turn signal...we're not missing anything.

Here in Virginia, we use turn signal.....Po Po pulls you over if you don't use it. Buttons vs. a lever will be a lot different feel for those who use a turn signal.

On bikes, the turn signal is just a button. I guess it's a little different than driving a car, but I am sure people will be able to get used to it just fine.

yea button turn signals will probably take some adjusting but i actually think it'll be easier and logical in the long run. most domestics will probably take this route in the next few car generation cycles to save on costs

I have always said buttond make more sense. Less stalks on the colum and using your thumb to hit the blinker before you turn really makes a lot more sense because if your going to turn you want you hand to remain on the wheel and not reaching for a stalk.

Nice idea for the turn signals. I sure hope the interior styling grows on me...

I think i like the signals buttons but not the wiper & light buttons as it my view that they arent "important" enough.
I believe the 1st US deliveries will be in June.
