Those pics look like they are all in the same location, are you sure its not just one car?

Nah..they're the same car, even the last 2....the "55" is just occluded by flash or light angle in the pic.

I've argued this previously...until we know whether the number of burned 458s is statistically significant, all we have is a couple of burned cars. Nothing too sinister about something that uses combustible fuels going up in smoke. Hard to draw any conclusions other than there might possibly be an issue. I'm sure SpA is looking more into it.

I think all the red car photos are of the same car. Someone has photoshopped the license plate closeup -- it looks to me like it is VS 551 U on one photo and then the "55" has been blanked on the last one and the closeup.

I recall one other manufacturer had problems with fires when they first went to direct injection but I can't recall which one.
