Rear wing for 599???
So some like'm and some don't. Personally I can't stand the way the F60 (Enzo) looks without one. Played around with paint and as far as I'm concerned made a significant improvement in the cars appearance.

Wouldn't say I dislike the 599 but would like to see a nice CF contoured wing on it......

Why does the factory F430 not have a wing, but the GT race car has a HUGE wing?
Because it isn't needed for the everyday drive, on the everyday car, doesn't necessarily mean that somebody wouldn't benefit from it.
But then again, some people just like the way it looks.
For me, wings and aftermarket aero aides seem unnecessary and a bit phony (no offense). Race cars are race cars and I can't see making a street car look like one unless you mean to transform it into a race car. But if folks like wings and such -- well, its their car so more power to them.
Sometimes I think I must be the only person who ever bought a Ferrari just because I like to drive it daily in a normal way: a guy in a parking lot was admiring my car and asked me the other day how fast I had had it up to and seemed shocked when I said, "Almost a hundred miles per hour." I like my F430 because its surprisingly comfortable, relatively quiet, and practical for such a perfectly balanced driver's car - definatley more streetable than, say, a GT2 or GT3 or Scuderia or Balboni, etc.
The only mod I'd like to make: I'd really like a couple of cupholders, actually. And I'm going to go to run-flats because I am worried about having a puncture I can't repair when on weekend trips, etc.

What makes cars as a hobby, and car shows in particular, so interesting is the very different perspectives you get among owners. People differ wildly in the things they have a passion for, and not just some like aero and wings and others (like me) don't -- it is much wider than that: I've met people who could not car less about HP or performance or comfort the that matter. They act as though their car is merely a platform for a 4000 watt sound system and neon and laser light show . . . not my thing, but you know-- it is actually pretty interesting to talk to t hem and look at their cars . . .

It is nice to hear from a ferrari owner than actually drives the car. I dont like aero add ons for a ferrari because they look so good from the factory that everything I have seen ruines the look. What you say makes a lot of sense to me. I would do a few performance mods for the car only an intake an exhaust to make the car sound even better. As for anyting after that I doubt it. I dont own a Ferrari but it sure is nice to dream.

I'm not too fond of these. They are subtle, and might just be enough to make up for the lines that some feel has been missed by Ferrari... But I don't see them being functional.
