Engine Control System Failure - Fabspeed Mods

I have a 2010 Ferrari California. I just did the Fabspeed exhaust and ecu upgrades over xmas. Today, while driving, the "Engine Control System Failure" message came on. Has anyone had similar? I am heading to the dealer tomorrow, but they are telling me it wont be under warranty now that I have the mods.

Is this something I should Just live with or is there something wrong? I would appreciate anyone else that has done the mods...

Thanks!

Unfortunately, Fabspeed is in Philly, and I am in Tampa. I am going to call them in the morning before heading over to the dealer. From what I can tell from reading through boards, the MAF sensor is probably getting too much air due to the exhaust, which is causing the issue. Hopefully, it can be reset/calibrated.

Otherwise, it could be a dirty throttle, or something more serious. The MAF issue seems to be common with ECU/Exhaust upgrades though. Can anyone weigh in?

I just got back from Ferrari of Tampa Bay, and I must say those guys are great. Unfortunately, the error is something they have seen quite often with ECU upgrades from EVOMs/Fabspeed. Typically, they send the ECU back out to get reprogrammed again, but the head tech said it has been 50/50 success on fixing the issue or not. Anyway, the error code coming up is P0420 and P0430, which corresponds to an error entitled "Catalytic System Efficiency Below Threshold."

I am assuming people have been able to fix this in the past so I wanted to get some responses before I decide to ship it out and back. I appreciate any feedback we can get.

Thanks!

The cat fault is probably because your cats are high flow, and the ECU does not see the right amount of gasses flowing by the oxygen sensor, this won't cause any damage, just annoying to have the CEL on.

Yes. Ferrari of TB said it wont damage anything, but it will be annoying with the light coming on all the time. I am hoping that the ECU company could reflash it and possibly fix this issue. I havent been able to confirm this though before I decide to have them rip it out again.
