Coming from a porsche background i still own an 06 Cayenne turbo and 01 turbo i wanted to get a supercar this time , So i looked at the Aston Martin DBS , Gallardo Lp-560 , an 06 Mclaren SLR and an Audi R8 and after lots of looking around and test-drivings i finally pulled the trigger and place an order for an 2011 Ferrari California its fully spec'ed out

The car has all the carbon fiber bits inside and will be an April production car and i should be expecting on on the first two weeks of May , What do you guys think am i missing anything ?

I think the only thing's missing are the keys in your hand and nice warm sunny day. Congrats on the purchase, it's beautiful. Oh and maybe the TUBI music box.

well i test drove them all except the SLR and i did my research on all of these cars so here's a brief summary of what i got and everything is only my opinion and my thoughts :

Aston Martin : amazing car , big engine , comfortable interior and such a looker. the car was so smooth that i didn't care the speed bumps but it was missing the wow factor since the DB9 almost Looks like the DBS so that did not justify to me the added amount of money.

Gallardo : pure sexiness , such a stunner and makes you feel like you are the king of the world i borrowed my friends car for the day and after driving it around for almost 45 mins my back just gave up there is no room to move the seats and no headroom whats so ever which was really annoying.

Audi R8 : bottom line the transmission is rubbish

Mclaren SLR : the one i found was an 06 model which was in my range that i can afford but when you spend that kind of money you expect the car to fully loaded and at least have some sort of an interior mark that makes it ok to spend that kind of money on top of that is that the car is an 06 model and were in 2011 and i wanted to fully customize my ride.

So that was my opinion and that was what i got trying these cars i hope i answered your question

Congrats on the purchase of your new Ferrari. Great color combo.

 

Get the carbon piece on the outside that goes on the rear, I don't exactly what it's called but i know its right where the license plate would go inbetween the white lights. It really completes the exterior.

Other than that I think your car is just about perfect, maybe red tach to go with interior better.
