I also heard that paint needs 60 days to cure and that if wrapped before that, the paint curing can pull the wrap

 

It is the case with aftermarket paint. We have been protecting vehicles since 1997 and one thing we can say with certain confidence is in the quality of OEM paint. This factored in along with the vehicle getting to the typical consumer is 60-90 days.

Aftermarket paint is a completely different ballgame. We do not place much faith in 95% of bodyshops on the market as it is all done by hand whereas auto manufacturers are done by robotics. For aftermarket paint, you must wait at least 30 days for the paint to cure. And even then, there is no guarantee the paint will not come up later.

This is why we recommend consumers to have this done to their new car to preserve OE paint.
