That guy is an idiot! They said his money had ties to the mafia. I hope he goes to jail for destroying such a beautiful car.

The LA Times had another article about this yesterday. They said the Enzo was owned by a Scottish bank and was repod; they weren't sure how the car was in his possession. They also said a gun magazine (the kind that holds bullets) was found in the debris. The LAPD doesn't seem to be buying the missing driver story. They also report that this guy reported his SLR stolen, which is the type of car he was racing (they said). Mmmm, it all sounds a bit fishy.
