I'd go with a GT2 .
360 Modenas, not even counting the maintenance will put you thru hell if you're not ready for it (financially)

Mods can be costly.

And 1 thing i hate about Ferraris is the attention, people will start pulling out their cell phones and cameras to take pictures of you and your car.

I'd say go for it (...if you can really afford it)! Sometimes these itches can be expensive, but you're still young enough to recover from any real bumps in life.

A lot cheaper than running a twin big block Cigarette.

Any trip to the shop was a minimum $2000 and if it wasn't, you may as well add some preventive maintenance.

At least with a Ferrari, the expenses are somewhat expected ... with a boat, they come out of the blue and at the most inopportune time.

I don't have a problem with anything, was just curiosity, that seems like an awful big step, that's all.

Prices for Ferrari 360s in US are much higher than Europe. This car would fetch 70000US$ (55000 Euros) in Europe. I have no clue why they remain so pricey in US.

The car you are considering is approx. 15 years old!

Look at the exhaust headers on these. They tend to crack and need welded or replaced. That is a 5000$ job.

Personally I would try to find a F430 with higher miles and proper maintenance records.

Regards,

CF

I am surprised at the knowledge of people here on the market. A 2004 360 is selling for under 100k with 10k miles or less. Where do you guys see a 2000 for over 100k? I'm afraid many of you are out of touch with the market. I think you should go on ferrari chat since the knowledge here is incorrect. But they probably wouldn't waste their time once they heard 19 and GT2 previous owner. People on 6speed are nicer.

That car should be 80k if that.

Here are 2 cars on cars.com for 90k 10k miles. Go on cars.com there are 30 more that are cheaper. Second you should't get a 360 that will tear a hole in your pocket because the motor has to be dropped for everything. An F430 would be the oldest ferrari I would get. Third if this kid is really 19 and claims he had a GT2 too, I'd end our discussion here, we are most likely wasting our time.
