Looking at buying a 2000 360 Modena...?s for you to answer

Ok I am looking at buying a 2000 360 Modena. Has Carbon fiber seats, red brakes. etc...

20k miles but has all service records, perfect condition...no scuffs, scrapes, etc.
What all should I look for in this deal and does anyone have some input on what this car is worth? the asking price is 125k is that a good deal?

You're 19?

115 is probably close to it.

Maybe even a bit less. Lots of miles, second year of production.

How are you buying this car at 19? Just wondering.

Make sure it's not a Euro posing as a US car! Lots of the deals on the early 360s are just that.

Don't mean to sound rude, but if purchasing the car is a squeeze, I would walk away. Your wallet will also take big hits for maintainance and repairs. If you're constantly in a squeeze financially to take care of things right, it will hamper on the experience.

And, I gotta ask... C230 to 360 Modena?

How current is the service records? Given the year, the car should already have 30k svc and cam variator done.

I would say 105k - 115k. Definitely no more than that.

The C-230s are my college cars...driving back and fourth from Austin and San Antonio every week puts about 1kmiles a week on my cars so I am going to stick with those as my dailys.....The Ferrari is more of an ejoyment toy for my father and I.....

I am trading a motorcycle plus some cash for the car.

What's that got to do with anything?

My budget says if I wanted a 360 and a new reliable daily, the daily has to be a Mazda3 ... why would anyone have a problem with that. I didn't buy the 360 to make people think I'm rich, I bought it because I wanted it. I also had a GT2 prior to the 360.

No way to determine approx. value without more information.
US or Euro model? F1 or 6sp.? You mention, 'has all services records', however, are they up to date? Has the 5K and 15K been completed? Have the Drive belts and Variators been replaced? Have you run a carfax to check prior history? Etc., etc., etc...
