What do we think? Dino mule or just a new 599?

Well it probaby is the Dino. They say it's going to be based off the 599 platform so what better way to hide a new car than throwing on the body of the previous gen.

I assume the internals are of the upcoming Dino.

 

the side shots look like a C6 corvette.

 

didn't the Ferrari ceo say in the latest car and driver that they would never make a "baby Ferrari" or entry level Ferrari... that entry level Ferrari's are called used Ferrari's?

Would the Dino be an "entry" level Ferrari?

it has dino running gear - if you look at bodywork you'll notice it's about 6 inches shorter than 599

I really hope that Ferrari don't make another model. I actually think it would be better if they get rid of the 612, which is terrible, and just keep it down to the 430, 599, and Enzo (one off runs)....different variants of each model is fine.

I hope this vehicle is a 599 stradale of some sorts as Shawn said.

Thats what I'm thinking.

I think if ferrari was trying to keep something under wraps they would cover it in so much plastic wrap that no one would recognize it, no matter what platform it is being built from.

It's also possible that ferrari is experimenting with an AWD format and reduced the front tire sizes to study the effects of the arrangement!
