The 7th Annual “Cars for the Cure” Auto Show extravaganza will be held the weekend of February 4th-6th 2011 at beautiful Colonial TownPark in Lake Mary Florida. This charitable event, with proceeds going to support the American Lung Association of Florida, promises to be like none other.

Great Event Rob! I already registered a few weeks back and have gotten at least 7 people registered for it as well. Should have a contingent of around 25 cars from Tampa coming over Friday night when it is all said and done. I already put this on the Corvette Forum as well.

On site will be The new James Cameron movie's ...."Sanctum" 3D Mobile Experience"
The truck will feature a 3-D viewing experience with 90 stadium style seats, fully decked out projection and digital surround sound....will be Awesome!!

The 3-D action-thriller Sanctum, from executive producer James Cameron, follows a team of underwater cave divers on a treacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and least accessible cave system on Earth. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they must fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic as they search for an unknown escape route to the sea.
Master diver Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) has explored the South Pacific's Esa-ala Caves for months. But when his exit is cut off in a flash flood, Frank's team--including 17-year-old son Josh (Rhys Wakefield) and financier Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd)--are forced to radically alter plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out. Soon, they are confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or will they be trapped forever?
Shot on location off the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, Sanctum employs 3-D photography techniques Cameron developed to lens Avatar. Designed to operate in extreme environments, the technology used to shoot the action-thriller will bring audiences on a breathless journey across plunging cliffs and into the furthest reaches of our subterranean world.

I just wanted to email and let you know that we have set up room blocks for car show participants. The Marriot ($95/night) and Westin ($79/night) are both offering us great rates. Please book the hotel stay by clicking the link below. If you have already booked it, please give the hotel a call and they will be happy to adjust the rate for you. If you booked your reservation through Expedia or another website, they will not be able to adjust the rate as they can not see what you paid until you show up to check in they said.
