Thankfully she doesnt know how to drive manual trans, otherwise we'd be fighting for the car!

Verrrry carefully... The Mrs. has been lectured repeatedly about being careful, and so far no problems. I placed foam impact bumpers on the walls to help protect the doors (available at Griot's Garage). Usually able to open the door to at least the first notch on the hinge w/o touching the other car, which is enough to get in. Unfortunately nothing I can do but be careful... house was built in 1924, I dont think this garage was originaly intended to fit 2 cars side-by-side... but sure better than parking it outside - just part of living in San Francisco.
