Garage Makeover
Garage Makeover
Hi,
first post on this forum. Been admiring your garages for quite sometime, some really stunning ones.
I decided to give my garage a little makeover during the summer. I did the work together with a friend. Its quite rudimentary but I'm only 23 and still a student so go easy
Started out like this (after the wall had been taken down):

A few days work and a total cost of 100€
:

Not much by your standards but for 100€ can't really go wrong.
Ok, I know you're all busy but I have a few questions.
1. Im looking into getting tool boxes (large ones on wheels). Most of the ones available in Sweden are sold without tools. I have plenty of loose tools so I will just buy an empty toolbox. Question is, how do you organise your tools? Can one buy inserts for the drawers that are formed for tools?
2. Is there any type of rim storage available? Im looking for some kind of thing that I could use to hang my summer rims on the wall.
Also any pics of nice garages you wish to post in the name of inspiration would be most appreciated!
Oh and here is the car: E34 M5 with 18" BBS LM

Thanks for your help and good luck with your projects!

Thanks for the kind words!
Its just the basic foundation really, still have quite a bit of work to do concerning workbenches, storage etc etc. But it's on hold as I'm doing an internship in Singapore for 6 months.
Tire rack would take up too much space. Im thinking of something I could use to hang the rims on the walls, any ideas?
Concerning the tools; how do you organise your tools in the toolboxes? Mine will come with empty drawers and I don't just want to put all my tools in randomly. I want there to be a specific place for each tool...
Another pic of my baby if anyone's interested
