I will take you up on that...Just met Alex Bellus this past weekend when he came down to DSM and shot pics of my brother's Boss 302 and my Dad's GT3....great guy! I put two and two together when I was mentioning your thread and how I wanted to come up to Minneapolis sometime and he goes "I took all those pictures!" Small world! Will look forward to coming up there next year!

Best time to visit is during Cars & Coffee, an event held at Automotorplex during the first Saturday of every month, April through October. Be on-site by 8am if your plan is to bring a car into 'show'.

If you can't make C&C, PM me, I might be able to squeeze out some time for a quick tour.

Later.

Yep, I am guitly of the "now that is too cool" aspect of your thread as well. Your build influenced mine quite a lot. I must say you made me look at a shop in a whole new light, while my wallet hates you about now the rest of me loves you for it. You also led me to this forum with your posts on the garage journal.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys.

We're not over as much lately with our new baby at home, but it's a great 'getaway'

You're welcome and thanks.

Glad to hear our place was a (mostly) good influence! Life is short, may as well live it up.

Post up some pics of your garage if you get a chance.

Thumbs up

I had to sign up on these forums just to post to THIS thread, this has got to be one of the coolest deals I have ever seen!

I have yet to see anything like this out here in SoCal. Hopefully someone here will take notice.

To the OP, thank you so much for taking the time to post up this build thread. I'm sure I'm not the only one in awe, and taking away lots of ideas for my self.

Great thread and killer garage!!!

Congrats on your new Baby! The older I get the more I realize what a treasure children are, my life would be so empty without them.

Thanks. I'm 46 this year - and waited far too long to have a child. An amazing experience (as you know).

Your place is epic! Simply stunning.

I'm close to 55 with a 12 and 14 year old. Kinna hard to keep up sometimes, but having em later in life, makes it a Lot more enjoyable I think.

Yup, I am 49 with a 15 and a 12 year old. I had a stroke about 5 years ago, got lucky and had no permanent damage. However, it really changed my outlook on life. As HIRSK said "might as well enjoy it".
I have worked hard to see that my wife and kids will be financially stable should I keal over, now its my turn.

Haven't checked out this thread since some time in 2009 - love seeing this garage finished up.
I remember ISIS building his garage and switching out his Red Supra for the P-car. I def understand why you took him on advice during the buying of the garage interior.

I like the approach on the lighting and fact that you use it for a kit car build rather than luxury garage for the three Ferrari's - even though that is entirely approved too

Thanks for sharing!

This is an awesome concept. I don't believe it would work on that scale here in TN but it is really cool. I am going to use some of your ideas in my new garage/office build. Thanks for detailing the build. The Cobra build is great. I have always wanted to build a car like that. Should be fun when complete - only then you will need another project. I have always found that building is the fun part and the finished product gets boring after a while. Excellent job on both - thanks for sharing.
