I'm almost, in fact I am, embarrassed to post this up but as there must be evil for good to be recognized, there must be something truly mundane to allow us to appreciate the magnificent. Below is what passes for my garage, which sure ain't much but there is not much I can't do or make myself. And as you can see, I can keep an eye on the laundry while working on my current project, a frame up restoration of a ('72 frame & drivetrain, '74 body) Land Cruiser, which was dispossessed by the '97TT. I have a lot of fun out there. It suits me fine.

mine is very similar, I have a jeep that i'm constantly doing metal fab for along with other welding projects, a while back I thought of doing the floor in order to improve the look of the garage, but products like race deck, swiss tracs and such just won't hold up to the abuse of metal fab... still looking for a good solution...but i'm not sure that there is a functional yet aesthetically pleasing one out there...

Why be embarrassed? This is your kingdom. This is where you gain perspective! This IS your sanctuary. This is the place where no one except people like you, like us,, understand your silent obsession. Now, get back in there and sweep that floor, fergawdsakes!

Funny, after I got the dogs out for a good run that's exactly what I did the next 6 hours. The shelves behind the '97TT are coming out. Hopefully they'll be replaced by the GT2. But if they're both going in there it'll be at an angle. Where there's a will there's a way, right?
