Congrats and nice work mattgarrett - this build thread was chosen as a Best Build Thread pick for this week.
What this means is that a bunch of guys who like to build stuff (cars, trucks, 4x4s, bikes, cabins, boats, planes, and garages) and have read a ton of build threads, thought that this build thread makes a valuable contribution to online DIY culture.
Thanks Lotus907. It has been very nice having the garage. The water feature is actually very easy to maintain, net it before the leaves fall and call the maintenance guys to clean it out once a year....LOL.
Congratulations Mr. Gerrett. That is a build most could only dream of. I absolutely love the architecture; it perfectly fits with the existing home and one would never know they were not built at the same time. The design features are stunning. How is the RaceDeck flooring holding up? I was glad to see you did not go with an epoxy coating as I have never seen one that holds up over time. I went with porcelain tile in my little 3-car and have never regretted it. I love your entire set-up. Enjoy- you deserve it. Michael

since this is my first home, I have little experience.
Found a service in my city (their website https://stigaragedoor.com/rockville-md/), how to find out their certification and where can I find real reviews about their work?
thanks at advance
