A lot of other variables. What floor will you be going with, any tool boxes or other stuff in there? What type of lighting?

Sorry for the additional questions........I do this stuff for a living and don't like giving snap answers without all the info!

But remember that semi gloss will show every flaw in the dryeall work. If you go with a gloss make sure the finish work is flawless.

I did my walls yellow with black and white checkered race deck tiles on the floor. It looks fresh and bright, not dark and dingy like most garages. All three of my cars are red and it looks pretty good I think. White walls might look too blah and will dirty quick. Pick a color that you like and go with it.

White on top, red on bottom with a grey ~10cm band in between.

I think a creme color works well, or white.

hey kevin,

no cabinets, no room for that. was going to put in storewall instead.

for floors i am seriously considering doing ceramic tile. for lights i was actually wondering if you can help me with. i have a lot of recessed lights right now and want to convert a few of them to fluorescent light since i understand its the best light for working on cars (detailing, etc.)

i will take a few pics later and post them up here. i was thinking light blue for the walls and white for the ceiling. as a bmw fan, that will give me the white/blue similar to their roundel
