Looking For A Lift

I was interested in a Revolution Lift, but seems that there are predetermined lock points. Is there another brand that lets you stop the lift at any height you prefer? TIA

Get a Bendpak lift. Made in the USA and very good quality. I got the 9000LB and love it.

Well that direct lift is romoured to be pretty stout and comes assembled in the US and the hydraulics are US not Chinese, so it looks good to me. And its black, which fits my color scheme I know not a reason to buy, just a plus

Thanks, but I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a 4-post lift. Otherwise, it does look pretty stout.

I'll check out Benkpak. Although I'd prefer to lock it at any point, it does seem to have more locking points than Revolution. Do you have the HD9-ST? Thanks.

Oh not problem. I know Bendpak is a good brand, but the greg smith people have gotten pretty good reviews from the boys on Rennlist, and the price is certainly right so......

My Pro Park 7 from Greg Smith Equipment was delivered yesterday and is almost set up after 3 hours with my dad's help. Seems to be a very nice lift, especially for the price.

My garage ceiling is only 10' 3" so it looks like I cannot get the bendpak. I will be trying the HR8000 but there are no reviews on Rennlist for that model. I found a positive review on the Factory Five Cobra website but that's it.

Yes there is. The most recent is Mike J has one (HR 9000) and loves it, couple other people have talked about dealing with greg smith ent. and all has been positive. I just ordered one (HR8000)and it should be to me in the next day or so. Looked like a great deal for what you get, fits my color scheme and gets pretty good reviews. Can't go wrong.......I hope

Can you throw me a link? I did a search over there and came up empty. I agree that it looks like a great deal. I just did the freight quote request tonight and will be ordering it the middle of this week (as a birthday present ) once I verify the concrete is good (99% sure it will be fine). Are you doing the install or hiring someone? Take lots of pics and let me know any pointers!

I agree on the color scheme too, blue would not look right going into my green, black and white garage. Besides, the lift will now match my cars!

Sorry for the delay. I have been unable to find the specific thread I was looking for. I may have simply had a PM discussion with Mike about the lift, but I know he posted somewhere about his experience. I received mine last week and will be mocking it up (again) this w/e in preparation for the floor staining guy next week. So far it seems very well built (and heavy as a ****)
I'll post my experiences once its finished.

Happy B-day BTW

I'm also looking for a lift that I can put in my regular height garage. But I want to make sure I can work on any parts of the underside of my BMW too.

This one does look good for the price but has anyone bought it yet?

Greg Smith looks like a great company, but I think these 2 choices would be first and second, not necessarilly in that order.

or

I'm calling them on Monday.
