IPhone / I Pod Integration for the 997 w/PCM (with or without NAV). Units will be purchased through Eric at BumperPlugs (board sponsor).
Putting together a group buy of the Dension Combo system includes the Gateway 500 and BTA1500. Bottom line the combo both fully integrates the IPhone/IPod through your factory head unit AND allows you to use your phone through Bluetooth. The buttons work, contacts display on the head unit, etc. Very slick.
The intent is that (for those interested, in the Northern Virginia area) we’ll do a group install on weekend afternoon. I’ll host.
Message me if interested -- there will be a group buy promo code set-up online, etc. Shipping will be all to me; we’ll divide whatever shipping costs by the number of units…
(I'll be installing on my 997 GT3)
Thanks,
-DS

I'm expecting a relatively simple install. It apparently works with Blackberries (see pics below)... My interest was in regards to the iPhone. Details on the two products included in the 'combo' are at:

more information at the Dension site
Definitely not RF modulation. Additional information on the unit (Dension, not Denison) - http://www.dension.com/index.php?pageID=11
(this is actually an answer to a PM)

edit - maybe cross post this on other forums for more interest?
okay -- giving up for now
okay -- it looks like there isn't quite enough interest (people willing to part with the $$) at this time, so I'm going to call it a day on putting this together.
Maybe someone else wants to give it a try?

Thanks very much !
I found an ipod cable in the storage - the cable reads Chinglung VW1 - I plugged in an ipod (Nano with video) and the ipod displayed - not a charging device
On the PCM - I pressed the CD button to toggle single and multi and then pressed 5 for the track list - it says "No ipod" and does not play anything
I'd greatly appreciate any help please.
Thanks in advance
