Man, that sucks. The old handbrake trick comes in real handy for these types of situations. Use the handbrake to prevent you from sliding down.

Who the hell was driving the car? That is so amateur...

Unless of course it was the owner of the GT with not a lot of experience on driving cars up on a trailer or something...

I'm sure Kimi Räikkönen could not get the GT up on a trailer either but would propably beat W.Rohrl in it on a F1 circuit...

holy ****. that hurt. its not driver error, the ramp shot out from under him, plus that angle on a cgt is tough. juha, have you driven a cgt before, its not easy. that part will runn him 10k+.

The importance of having the right tools for the right situation. Real ramps or a tilt/rollback trailer are a must

It is driver error. Like stated above, he should use the hand brake and not try to "gun" his way up.

Also, I haven't driven a CGT so I cannot say how hard it is but I'm not the one who wrecked it either...

loose ramps + no handbrake; call it what you like, I call it amateur...

Edit: 10k???? Damn!! that sucks. 1k lesson shoud've been enough, 10k is just horrible. I feel sorry for the owner...

Were those ramps made of wood? It looked pretty Mickey Mouse.

Wow that hurt to watch! I've had my GT on a truck several times, and the bottom line is you need a good, metal ramp if possible, adequately angled as to not scrape the underside -- and winching it up is way better than driving it up.

Man, I hope I never see that video again.

Geez, that owner must be sick... but if you own a CGT, then another $10K is a drop in the bucket..
