"Market Value" for used 07 GT3 RS
RS market right now is 25-35k over for 08 models. 2007s with miles are going for 10-15 over depending on the color. Color is very important since White or silver is not a high demand car. I am interested in your black car PM me.
I can't answer your question other than to say it won't be long before you can buy an RS below MSRP.Right....and soon CGTs will be trading in the $150s.....

Id put a bet on it if you would like.
I never said the price will not stabilize, of course it will. I only disagree with your comment that "soon you will buy a RS uder MSRP". With a VERY small number of 08s being produced it will be at least a year before that is even a remote possibility. However if you know of this vast inventory of cars available below MSRP, please send me the details...I'll take all of them!
As far as no car in history ever staying above MSRP that is absurd. There have been many...Carrera RS ring a bell?

I also didnt say their was a vast inventory of cars under MSRP that may have been someone else as well. I said allot of dealers have them and asking stupid over MSRP 180k range.
Maybe I was wrong about saying no car stays over MSRP but I did say one off cars and cars that are very limited and for the 07 RS they are not "very limited" yes maybe 2008 is limited but not very. Since no diffrence in 07 and 08 makes the RS a limited car not very. 08 thier is 80 produced if that was it total then yea thats very limited but I think 600 made in 07 I maybe mistaken on that number,
Any how we are both thinking the same just stating it diffrent
No Porsche in the last decade has ever maintained its value anywhere close to MSRP. That being said it does appear that CGTs might be heading back up and could potentially reach MSRP if supply keeps dwindling (exports) and/or their "collectibility" becomes a factor.
As for the GT3RS ... it's hard to say. They were manufactured in limited numbers and anytime that happens it certainly slows down depreciation. If I were to guess I would expect '07s to be available around MSRP within the next few months as cars come on the market with some miles.
As for the '08s I was told that a number of them won't have ceramic brakes due to a supply shortage (this from a business associate who is receiving his '08 next week). Personally speaking I would take a '07 with ceramic brakes over a '08 without them.
Only time will tell if a modern Porsche - either the CGT or the RS - can maintain some semblance of value like a Ferrari. My 2004 Stradale is still worth more than MSRP to this day!

PCCB ran short til early Aug. from Apr to July to be exact. some late 07s couldn't get them as well as few early 08s. not all 08s though however. if u spec the car in Late July then u can get PCCB again. i do agree i'd rather pick a car with PCCB for RS rather than newer model year. there's no difference between them anyway except maybe few days apart in the production line.
Yea those Ferraris are great, right now RPM Motorsports in Houston has a 1999 456M GTA with 15k miles in said to be excellent condition. Original MSRP of $229,950...asking $78,500. All marques have winners and losers.
You know they made over 1100 F40 and they made more F40s than Stradales, so even 500 is a very low number.
