I've always wondered if the GT2 had the same ride as a GT3. I thought since the GT2 is more of a higher end car it would be a little smoother.

The GT2 has a stiffer, harsher ride than the GT3.

Ride characteristics should be very similar, but I imagine the GT2 would be a bit harsher due to the larger/wider rear tires.

justin,

i don't really see it that way although he can search my previous comments. it does feel that way until you shed the massively heavy factory wheels.

but the suspensions feel very similar.

at slow speeds on the same bumps, a gt3 is harsher ie bumps up and down much more jarringly on bumps it sailed through at high speed.

Watt, Both the 2 and 3 are stock and indeed running stock wheels so I will not rule out your thoughts and also value them as you have much more seat time in 2s and 3s then I do, I would love to get a ride in a 2 with lighter wheels, maybe I can get a flight out to Cali ASAP.
