Factory Seat Belt receivers
Hi - I installed racing seats and would like to know if Porsche makes a part that extends the receiver portion up a couple of inches as I cannot get the belt clip in the receiver as it is down to far towards the floor between the new seat. if not, does anyone else manufacture extend receivers etc.?

Porsche makes a longer set to go with the carbon RS seats, but they should work with a different set of racing seats if that is what you have.

 

Hey JSD, I have exactly the same problem. A friend of mine solved the problem with 944 female seat belt buckles which are about 1.5 inches longer than the GT3 units on his Cayman, but I am having problems getting the correct part number to order them. I am on a mission to solve this one and will get back to you as soon as I figure it out. Please do the same if you resolve it.

If it is only the receptacles you need, here you go:

Seat Belt Receptacle Driver: 997-803-183-02

Seat Belt Receptacle Passenger: 997-803-183-03

 

Are these the elongated ones or the standard ones please?

 

the factory longer female receptacle is only about 1/2" longer than the standard one, just in case you dont know.

i have both standard and long. it's not much longer. though it does help a bit.

 

I think those are for the longer ones.
