Hi there , new UK 996 RS owner here
Nice to be here , great forum and much information too.
I am after some help!
I am looking for a set of summer wheels for my 996 GT3 RS , they must be something special (non oem) , maybe HRE , i would like a polished lip with red centres.
Not many UK owners change the rims on these cars , some have 18" cargrpahics or BBS LM's , i would like to do something different and would really appreciate your guys help.
I would like them in 18" too.

Welcome to the board Paul, I would reccomend you to settle for a set of C21 Hre's with hte centres painted Gaurds red and probably a white or polished lip.

Honestly I wouldn't do a thing to that car. The 6RS is rare and perfect just the way it is.

Paul, welcome to 6Speed. 
If it were my car i'd probably go for the BBS Racing Split Rim sold by Gert at www.carnewal.com and get the centre's custom powdercoated. Very light, very strong and would look perfect on the RS being a motorsport wheel.
