997 GT3 - 18" Fikse w/ Hoosiers

Just ran a DE at TWS with this setup. Wheels and tires fit perfect over the PCCB w/spacers.

18" Fikse Profil 13 w/ Hoosier 245/40-18 315/30 -18

Personally I do not like the wheels but that is amazing the 18" rims cleared the PCCB. Kudos for trying it and making it happen. You now have a good variety of competition rubber to choose.
Nice job, GT3Ranger

GT3 Ranger - What?... That's Great!! I'm glad we have a forum where we can voice both positive and negative comments with our fellow Porsche friends. At least we both like Speed Yellow w/black wheels.

Great wheels.

Perhaps some crested caps to add some color?

Hey frankdt please do not get upset. The wheels are not my taste. I did compliment you on doing the wheel setup in 18". This will help others so we can run other competition rubber.
When I got my HRE 890R's for my car I took a beating. The majority were saying, "I don't feel it" to why did you do it, should have left the stockers. "They look better" and on and on.
Hey man thse are your wheels, you love them, good for you and God bless you.
Sorry for pissing you off but wheels are very personal I guess.

Cheers, GT3Ranger

I like them!

I have the same wheels in all black being re-anodized at Fikse as we speak.

what size spacers were required front and rear?
can you not order without spacers?

Paul,

I ordered the wheels from Elite Motorsports in Austin, Tx.

As for spacers, none are required. Just removed the stock wheels and bolted these on.

Fronts weigh 42 lbs/w hoosiers Rears weigh 47 lbs/w hoosiers
