Funny, talking to you, I didn't notice any English accent. We have an office in Pool, England and man do those guys love their cars and motorcycles!

 

see I feel right at home now Sad to say my drinking prowess would not stand up too well against the traditional English-boozers!

I've been here since 1998 and over the course of that time and being married to an LA-woman my accent has been nuetered. My mum gives me grief about it everytime she comes to visit....

PS I should be a US Citizen by this time next year

I actually just picked up my parents @ LAX last night as they came to celebrate with myself and our family out here. Also i lol'd at your comment about your mom givingyou grief over your accent - 90% of the arguments i have with my mom is when she informs me that i am speaking like an American and need to keep my accent and identity! I only get pissed because i know she's correct!

I wish she would next day me some Sheperds Pie! The only thing I can eat back there is Indian food, Chinese food and... Sheperds Pie!

Hey Joshua, I love the screen name... Happy thanksgiving to you too mate... I know exactly where you are coming from. When I pick my mum up from SFO or LAX it only takes 30 seconds and then she goes "Why do you have to roll your L's blah blah?" The worst part now is that people think I'm Australian
