I know US dealers can not sell to individuals intent on exporting the cars. However my understanding is that the weak dollar may result in used RS' being shipped out. I was approached by two overseas buyers when I wanted to trade my black for an orange.

 

this is getting crazy. first CGT now RS. i guess USD is really that bad huh? was checking the RS seat price yesterday shockingly they used to be around 10k now cost more than 17k. WTF!

 

For 2 1/2 times the $17,000 you could buy a new Corvette C6 instead of just seats...or am I just being silly....

 

u are not being silly at all. it's silly to charge a pair of seat cushions for close the 2k.

 

Alot of cars are being imported into Canada, we are getting new Porsches/Ferrari's left and right!

 

not only "supercars", lots of lesser sports cars are going too.
