So then on that assertion all other high hp cars w/ engine in the front are wrong (ie. Vette, Viper etc...)?
Anyway I can't afford a Ford GT so no need to think about it.
Believe it or not for a 4200 lbs sedan it handles pretty good. It does devower all other 4 dr sedans out there.

I think the ZR1 will be awesome. Chevy or not, I think there will be a big following for it. Who cares about depreciation? I certainly don't buy cars thinking about what it will be worth later. BTW, my 03 996TT had a rattle buzz like a behive as well. I think over time all cars, especially sports cars will have it's fair share of squeaks and rattles. I think you will be surprised when this car comes out. GM has come a long way in their build quality and design. Just my $.02.

The vette is a lot of performance for the money but the driving experince is not even close to a 911. If it was, we'd all be driving 'vettes instead. Oh yea, and I don't know if the vette will ever be able to shake that gold chain image.

For me, every time I've thought it might be the way to go because of the on paper specs and relative low cost, I go drive one and then I know it's not for me. It's kinda like eating KFC: after a few years you think you want some, and then you eat it, and then you remember why it was so long since you late ate some.

Hmmmm, let's see, my $134,000 MSRP 01 996TT with 21K miles is now worth ~$50K. Not exactly stellar resale. So I guess I'll put up with the dash and door rattles a little longer.
