That cage is very well done. The bars with the A pillars are perfect. A pure white tube is a thing of beauty. But where are the air-jack mounts? I remember we had the housing of the air-jacks welded to the tube and one in the front of the tube.
Doing a total build project I remember was so much fun and money but the fun was greatest. I went through this w/ a 3.8 RSR from the 993 platform. I bought a factory built one for IMSA and I built on w/ Champion Motorsport and Autosport South.
When life went in the crapper w/ divorse I had to sell everything back in '98. The one that was locally built I had to practically give away and the factory race car commanded a much better price.
Moral is; my friend the project is a lot of fun and money but it never comes back. The buyer always makes out like a bandit.

Good luck to you my friend, look forward to the finished race car.

Thanks, I agree the cage was very well done. I have already learned the lesson you went through and this build was not my first choice. I just went through a divorce and was forced to sell my Cup as it was easy to sell and the depreciation was very low. When I sold the Cup this car was too far along to convert it back to street. Fortunately I plan to race this car for several years. I would not do this again but hind sight is 20/20.
