MY09 gt3?

So I hear all the 08 gt3s are built already so my question is are we going to see a MY09 and if so any changes planned? I know these may be questions that have no answers but just thought I would ask.

Future of Porsche Development on 997 platform

At the last GT-3 RS Tech session the engineers from Porsche admitted the 911 series of cars are near the end of development. From here on out there would be small incremental improvements. They did say the GT-3 RS was produced by a small team of engineers who were given some freedom to develop the car. The focus will be on making it lighter, but made it clear anything they do will not compromise reliability under any circumstances !
Don't look for any big advances. I think most hi performance car builders are at that point. Best regards, Steve

My bet is that we'll be lucky if we see a MY10 GT3 with the new direct injection engine that is expected on the Carrera/S (+30hp) in Geneva in one month. Not sure though that direct injection would 1) be compatible with the 3.6L 2) would bring as much improvement in torque and power as it does on the Carrera engine.

They are testing the new 3.8L dry sump on the new RSR, but it only yields 485hp on 98Octane race fuel... just like what everyone else above is saying, the GT1 block pretty much hit its limit, other than turbocharging it.

Porsche should also try the "sharkwerks special" muffler bypass pipes! I saw them on the Suncoast website! Great work on those, by the way! What else are you guys starting to manufacture?
