Could have they run faster without the overheating issues and what
were the overheating issues? a different kind of rubber? what was clogging
the radiators?

Congrats to TRG

Consistency and pit strategy is one of the basic rule in running endurance race. I haven't talk to Kevin B. regarding their overheating issue. I will let you guys know want's i got some feed back.
The over heating issue put them at least 5 laps behind from the Rx8. They could have finish 1&2 but that's part of racing.

Happened to me last year when I won with Alegra. Lucky to save the motor.

Was having same issue in my #65 car. But told drivers to short shift and stay in open air in the last 2 hours. It was nice to finish though. Especially with the driver talent that was lacking. Minus Tommy Archer.

Just got home myself. we also got P4 with the car i was crewing on # 64 car(Lowe,Pace Valentine,Sugden ,Overbeek) we had an off at about 12am in the wet and it took out our decklid/wing. services on the car put us 7 laps down, which is where we ended up at the end!!! Without that we could have contended for the win, oohh well, thats racing. we, as well as the other TRG cars had the overheating issue which was simply due to not blowing out the rads early enough.

We didnt get the win but in all it was a good weekend!!

Good to see you Theo, nice finish considering all....
