I dunno, but it looks like the passenger wasn't wearing their seatbelt and hit the windshield. I wonder what it would cost to put that car "right". Dymags would be an amazing replacement for the wheels on this car!
I saw a CGT with little visible damage that was rear ended at about 10 mph from a plumbing truck and it cost $150k to repair. I'd bet repairing this would cost as much as buying another.

This is not the one from Texas I am prity sure. That one did not have the window broken from what I recal. But **** what are they smoking to ask that much money when that car has atleast 150k in damage.

Or maybe its the one from Gumball last year that crashed and finally made it back home.
It had FL plates though.

Salvage generally means the insurance totaled the car. The insurance companies I'm familiar with normally total when repairs equal about 70% of the value of the car. Figure the car was worth maybe $400k...if you do the math, this price doesn't add up.
Didn't know about the 70% value. Good to know. Thnx.
8 days to go and the bidding is already at $235k. Unbelievable. The cost to repair this car will be very high and would likely bring it within spitting distance of a no story nice car. Don't understand why someone would pay $235k for this.
