Ordeal ends and new (to me) 996 GT3 in the garage
A few of you may remember my post about getting a gt3 that when I brought it home would pull to the left when lifting from hard accel.
Well it could not be fixed!! P dealer said it was fine, P rep said take the car out and do figure 8s to loosen up the diff. All said no issue car was perfect.
That said is still pulled, we drove 3 gt3s back to back this was the only one that did it. We tried new wheels, tires, diff check, corner balance, frame check all perfect and still same issue. WTF!!
Here is where the story gets good. Randy Tuggle owner of Roaring Fork Volvo and Range Rover is the guy who sold me the car. He stood behind it 100 percent through the whole ordeal, told me if it could not be fixed he would replace the car or cash back. After P dealer said no issue he said let's get rid of it and find a new one.
The one I bought was 18k miles few rock chips but great shape. I picked up the repacement yesterday. 8k miles not a single flaw!! Gorgeous car!!
I can't believe a dealer went through this after Porsche said no issue, Randy is a true P car guy (ownes the 996 gt3 rs clone previously discussed) and a really honest car dealer. I doubt I will ever buy another car from any other dealer again. I really think that a bussiness is defined by how they handle things when they go wrong. These guys are amazing!!
Side not Randy also owns Sport Wheels which is run by John Beckius (uncle John to the audi guys) They were involved in all the mech work and are great guys to work with as well, they have done work on my previous Audi and P car.
Here are the pics , they suck but feet of snow on the ground

Dig the alum look steering wheel, very rare option.

Congratulations on the new car,
Your new to you gt3 looks likes its a showroom condition car, a pristine and fine example one of the most beautiful GT3's to date. I like the fact that this is nearly as real as it gets no traction control when compared to the more creature comfort oriented GT3 997 with the PCM and all leather amenities.

My 997 GT3 has neither PCM or leather.
Bill
You can order them, I've seen one over here at our local showroom with the PCM, full leather and door speakers in leather too. Basically the same things you might expect with a C2S in regards to the audio system, navigation, cd changer, telephone car placer in the PCM screen.
