Another (Evo magazine) GT3 vs GT-R video
We'll see who makes the excuses we we meet at the track and you try and beat me with your speed limited GT-R.
Oh I forgot, YOU'RE NOT GETTING A GT-R!!!!!!!! All mouth, no track.
Leave the driving to us. HAHAHAHAHAHA
But not to worry, I will have some video of me lapping GT-R's soon enough.

heavy i understand in your world you think you re mario andretti but as much noise you are trying to make back going to a track. doesnt change the fact that, at the tracks where these reviews are taking place the GT-R has zero losses.
its not gong to change the media coverage the GT-R is receiving as a result of this.
fact of the matter is that while may not being able to out track you. the time you'd post in the 911 turbo or GT3 would be slower than the time you'd get in a GT-R. but we know its not like you would drive the GT-R with the intent of being fair. you would drive te GT-R with the intent of losing to the 911 turbo
so everything you are saying about going to a track is nonesense between you and i.
I am also not surprised you are so ignorant/misinformed.. How do you figure the GTR is harder to get to its potential because its so uber fast? The difference between the turbo is negligible, plus you have the engine hanging over the rear and its more rwd biased, lighter and ofcourse goes along with Porsches roots to make the driver WORK for its performance?
The gtr you can get to max performance while sipping saki probably, sorry but that car uses a good awd and tons and tons of electronics to make up for its weaknesses, plus heavily underrated power!
And its even more impressive that the gt3 got beat by that little amount in not ideal conditions, so doesn't that contradict what your saying that they need perfect conditions to perform well? Hmm

You wholeheartedly beleive that a freezing cold test on terrible cold tires and a slight win and one driven awefully in a GT3 means the GT-R is faster on the track. Too bad you cant see reality when it's looking you in the face.
The simple fact is that you have no knowledge whatsoever beyond that of a magazine. Well we can just wait for the magazines to start conflicting each other and see what you have to say then.
When you get in a car and go to a track and have some useful information, then get back to us, until then, you are a waist of font.
Now that sounds familiar now doesnt it? Try Evo or Car magazine if you forgot.

the better the conditions the better all the cars perform. but is doesnt change the gaps between them
and the main thing is that the GT-R isnt even being pushed i nthese test. the GT3 and 911 turbos are

Watched the video twice. Those drivers make me angry. How the hell can you compare two cars if it looks like the drivers JUST got their licenses, after watching Tokyo Drift!
+1 to what you're saying, heavychevy, what with the track being the great equalizer.
However, the GT-R is going to allow people new to the sport to go arbitrarily fast, which in my mind is very dangerous.

Oh so now your a snob, saying "its just a Nissan" LOL
.. Last time I checked the GTR was Nissan's flagship sports car, built for the track, now it isn't? Hmm funny since I was arguing this fact that a sports car shouldn't be this heavy if built for the track, yet people praised its circuit/track abilities.
Dont act like its a normal econobox every day commuter car and that it beat the GT3 in un-ideal condition at its "own game" cause you sound ridiculous.

And quantitative data trumps. If variables change, the two runs aren't comparable.

Good point, some of these guys actually think the GT-R wont let them crash.
One guy told me "I'll pull away from you while you struggle to keep your car on the track" (and he knew what my car is, as if the GT-R is the only car that's possible to keep on the track). They must have missed the one balled up in Japan a few days after release. It's going to be interesting all of the untalent the GT-R will bring to the track. If in fact the fanboys actually track it. I cant imagine many good drivers that would want to buy it, for track driving anyways.
A fool and his GT-R (unless in his dreams I.E. 240ka) are soon parted.

that was sarcasm. I said it like that b/c someof you pcar boys like to resort to the "its just a nissan" mentatality have yo uhave run out of excuses for why the porsches keep getting beat
You keep neglecting that you must match performance with driver. You need to watch lesser cars rape the **** out of superexotics on a track [if you ever drive an event you'll get passed by about 40 spec miatas with 1/4 the horsepower of your car, no matter what you drive] and you will understand that you've got to compare potentials, not just watch a video/read an article.
And quantitative data trumps. If variables change, the two runs aren't comparable.

what you and heavy fail to realize is that car for car with the same driver the 911 turbo or gt3 CANNOT and HAS NOT beat the GT-R yet. and that is for a reason.
you have bought into heavy conspiracy theory i see that the porsches are not being driven properly. which is a lie
the GT-R is even beating the both of these two and it even has a SPEED LIMITER on it.
the GT-R can stay on the power longer coming into the turn and get back o nthe power quicker than the 911 turbo and gt3 coming out of the turn. and he only reason why the 911 turbo was able to punch back on the str8s is b/c the GT-Rs REV LIMITER. it shows this on the graph and has been proven by another poster who email GTC personally proving the GT-R has a "RL"
what do you think happens when there is no REV LIMITER at all?
excuses excuses excuses
