i think in the end, all heavy really wants to see is a fair comparison b/w a porsche and the gt-r. where you dont see the porsche doing power slides all over the track. i dont think anyone here denies the the power and capabilities of the gt-r. there just hasnt been a test where the track hasnt been freezing or the porsche is sliding around.

These threads always exist because people get defensive about the car they have a monetary and emotional investment in. Both cars are amazing pieces of engineering, both are extremely fast and both offer unique driving experiences. Different strokes for different folks, my recommendation is to stop feeding the trolls and enjoy what *you* drive.

BTW, the speed limiter will not be implemented in the US, it'll run up to an est 193mph.

if that is you arguement. you are saying 911 turbo and GT3 arentnot being all around performers and they need perfect conditions. of course the GT3 wouldnt do as well in less than favorable conditions being thtat its a RWD. but I hope thats not what you are saying. b/c you are only saying the 911 turbo and GT3 has even more limiitations

its sonding like another excuse
the porsches did perform, given the huge disadvantage. cup tires and rwd dont afford you the type of grip that regular tires and AWD do. lets wait until more tests come out for the 997TT and gtr and see what really happens when they are both on a level playing field.

Kinda like you saying you could beat my measly old 996 Turbo with a stock speed limited GT-R and you got called out?

Oh ok.

Still havent heard anything about that one. Just shows how much you know. Which is nothing, you buy the magazine hype down to the tee, and cant see past it.

So like I said, get some real track experience and see some real drivers and you'll see what the real world track experience is all about. Because lalaland magazine world will not prepare you.

Real experience trumps fanboy lack of knowledge everytime. You just keep getting owned and try to bring up a different arguement every time, well I'm tired of going in circles with you, I'd rather at least argue with someone who is for real. You are for fake (renntechv12).

Times don't matter at the end of the day. Porsche and Nissan don't build drivers, they build cars. 85% of the GTR's and the GT3's you'll see at the track aren't be driven to their full potential. Numbers just come down to bragging rights.

And that's basically what people are doing here - comparing numbers, no?

Btw, did the GT3 have a passenger in it like the GT-R did?

i was just about to say that to MR HEAVYCHEVY. in the GT-R you saw the passenger just about the whole time around the track in the video.

in the GT3 i didnt see anything in the passenger side come into the video once.

which leads me to believe there was no one in the passenger side of the GT3. and they did that to try and weigh the GT-R down

that makes it even worse for the GT3. simply stated the GT-R outclasses the 911 TT and GT3 in performance

you will always be going round in circles... that is the nature of your family tree.
You dont drive anything at a track to know what proper driving looks like, when you do,check back with me. Stick with your old R33.

Am I the only one that knows this is Z07?

BANNED Z07!!!!!!!!!!

Get this clown outta here.

A decent lap following a line in one car will always trump a drifting lap in another, no matter what the driver.

If you go by EVO magazine the only thing we know for sure is that the 996 Turbo is faster than both, and the Carrera GT.

Evo has only made themselves look bad to anyone who knows what driving is about. The rest of the fanboy mag racers go ahead and enjoy ignorance.

And he's apparently upset enough to put personal commentary about the GT-R in his signature.

It's a joke, just like the magazines. But I guess you cant see the hilarity in that just like you cant see the hilarity in non tracking fanboys arguing about the track.
