Another (Evo magazine) GT3 vs GT-R video
I've recommended in the past that he needs to retake his english classes.
Oh and Heavy, I think you have a stalker. He seems to follow you around on all the treads!

This stuff is so old. Porsche rocks, and that is all.
Seriously, we'll see how it does in a few months on the track driven by people not drifting.
And anyways, at the end of the day, the only thing that the stats/times matter for are bragging rights.

big deal. there was a typo.
replace have with once and you have
that was sarcasm. I said it like that b/c some of you pcar boys like to resort to the "its just a nissan" mentatality ONCE you have run out of excuses for why the porsches keep getting beat

Good point, some of these guys actually think the GT-R wont let them crash.
One guy told me "I'll pull away from you while you struggle to keep your car on the track" (and he knew what my car is, as if the GT-R is the only car that's possible to keep on the track). They must have missed the one balled up in Japan a few days after release. It's going to be interesting all of the untalent the GT-R will bring to the track. If in fact the fanboys actually track it. I cant imagine many good drivers that would want to buy it, for track driving anyways.
A fool and his GT-R (unless in his dreams I.E. 240ka) are soon parted.

You are telling me that before the GT-R was announced to sell in the US, there wasn't anyone who owned a porsche, ferrari, corvette or a lamborghini that went to a track event and crashed their car because he/she wasn't experienced enough with a high powered sports car?
hahaha you make me laugh with your arguments, take a logic class bro...
you remind me of one of the powerpoint slide i saw in dental school, it was kind of like a far side cartoon showing a penguin with the following caption,
penguins are black and white, some old tv shows are black and white, so therefore penguins must be old tv shows
does that logic work for you?
NOT advocating any car in this post, but look at yourself talk.

Maybe you should take your own advice. What you just posted had absolutely NOTHING to do with what I said.
I'm saying some of these guys are so emersed in the magazine drives, they dont think the GT-R can oversteer, or spin out, or crash, that every other car in uncontrollable on the track.
Now tell me again how this relates to what you just said.
Then go research what logic means.

where do you get this notion from heavy "they dont think the GT-R can oversteer, or spin out, or crash, that every other car in uncontrollable on the track.." i dont remember anyone saying or claiming this about the GT-R
if i remember correctly in the fifth Gear video he was speaking of the GT-Rs understeer
so where is that coming from. No one ever claimed the GT-R was the best thing ssince sliced bread.
but what has been proven is that the GT-R is a better performer than the GT3 or 911 turbo. no matter what your personal attacks are on the car b/c you think that you can drive the porsches better than everyone in all the test that have come out so far.
dont start making up falsehoods

You made that statement with an undertone, implying that good drivers would not buy the GT-R, so therefore mostly "fanboys" or "bad drivers" that are "untalented" would bring the GT-R to the track. Stop playing the electronic assistance as an excuse. It may be one "factor" out of many that play in the whole racing and tracking arena, but not something you can use to throw away driver skill. Have you seen the steering wheel of a modern F1 car and even the F1 inspired Enzo? What are all those buttons for? Ferrari's even have more sophisticated stability controls and electronic aids, due to their heavy knowledge on racing dynamics. Heck, the racing cars don't even have gated shifters these days, semi-automatic sequential gearboxes. Is that unfair?
If these technological advances that help the performance of a car is available in a modern Ferrari, think Enzo, you wouldn't be complaining, you would be complimenting. Just because a 70K+ car has some of these advances and beat the Porsche GT3 or TT, you have to be biased and automatically raise the "unfair" flag.
Why all the hate for a car with such performance?
Exactly, my point was to show that it doesn't matter what car is being tracked, it can be wrecked, considering a widespectrum of cars starting with a yugo to a lamborghini. You must have still not have realized that is my point. But some know nots think the GT-R isnt in that category. HOW HARD IS THAT TO UNDERSTAND?

And the sad thing is that you boys beleive anything you read, like you cant think for yourself. But I guess I shouldnt expect that since you cant learn all that much from Grand Turismo.

Look here boy, I'm sick of explaining myself to you, if you cant understand english, it's your problem, I make myself clear all the time.
When you get a car and learn to drive, come join the people who drive to learn as opposed to reading magazines to learn everything. I dont have time to waist on you.

Look here bro, the thing is, you contradict everything. You asked me how would I know "if" and "would" like a certain car. yet you make the whole post sound like you know me, and that im a nissan fanboy. I started making posts mostly directed at you because after reading thread after thread, you make the most ridiculous arguments of why you don't like the nissan GT-R. My point isn't layed out on the table because I love the GT-R so much as your **** poor attitude towards it and the enormous bias you have for the porsche. I understand this is 6speedonline, but a more "objective" bias would seem more appropriate in a forum with people who have a lot of experience with different cars in all different price ranges. Lastly, what fun would it be to time porsches against porsches during track events? You get a reference of how fast the car is and how it corners by comparing them to different makes and models. Last time i checked manufacturers produced more hp and more tq, in part due to their competition, manufacturing the awesome performance cars we have available to us today.
With a username like heavychevy, it seems like you take things to heart. You obviously think that the corvette can't perform either because it doesn't have a flat-6 in the tail?

Yawn..................
All that typing and saying nothing. You obviously dont go to the track to see what kind of cars guys usually bring there. So to continue is still a further waist of time because you and your friends know nothing but magazines.

exactly, it's out of your scope...
this is ususally how it ends up. heavy's ridiculousness gets the best of him and he ends up getting called out.
that guy is so full of conspiracy's and hate towards any other vehicle that challeneges a porsches its sad.
