Talk to me about your GT3-RS......
Best to drive one that's already broken-in to see how you like it. I recall another CGT owner (Fayence) saying that the GT3 RS is a close-second to his CGT, which he sold.
I call the GT3 RS the little brother to the CGT... it doesn't accelerate as hard and doesn't get so many looks (and no open top), but it does do some things very well. Kind of like the F40 and the CS.
BTW, I don't think the new GT2 is the little brother because it's a turbo with a greatly reduced redline and different sound. But it is very fast.

Thanks everyone for your responses.....especially to you Bill. Much appreciated.
There is an almost fully loaded white RS in the for sale section right now...
GT-3 RS vs Stradale
I have prepared both for track work running slicks. Stradale was much improved with exhaust modifications +38 hp. and Brembo Titanium GT brakes with 18" BBS race wheels.
The RS was also improved with Exhaust, ECU maping, and 18" race wheels.
Stradale was more jumpy at the limits but F-1 was a big plus.
Porsche was easier to drive at the limit. Both very good once modified. The edge to RS due to more forgiving nature, smoother through the turns, inspires more confidence. Stock on stock they are too close to call. I think an RS is a must have for the experience of driving one of the best sports cars ever made ! Steve

Hi Kuzi,
I strongly agree with DM1. Definately get a car with the carbon ceramic brakes. Those and floor mats and A/C delete were the only options I ordered. The brakes on the 997 GT3 / GT3 RS are the best I've ever driven. Very impressive.

In my part of the US, A/C is a must.
RS vs CS
[quote=Kuzi;1781183]I just sold one of my Stradales........and looking for a replacement. Would owners of an RS please give me your feedback about why you picked it over others........and even non owners.......who went with something else. Why did you decide against?
After doing Cargraphic exhaust and Revo programmable software for 91 and 100 octane the motor was at full potential. Throttle response was much improved. Light 18" race wheels removing 30 lbs ! made a huge difference. A total of over 75lbs was removed with the car at 2975 lbs now. Corner balanced and aligned. An RS once developed is faster than the CS in all respects. Very close to a Cup Car on the street ! Steve
