Question Best open-trailer for PetFrog?

thinking of getting a trailer to take PetFrog to the tracks.

If I were to do it it must be a trailer that can handle very low cars. I don't want to spend lots of times with putting blocks of wood and getting in and out of my car to make sure enough clearance if I'm solo.

So really want a nice open trailer that can accomodate what I'm looking for.

I know KevinM had a sick one but don't know who the manufacture was.

Any help with pics/pricing would be appreciated.

Thank you.

With my GT3, I tried both Trailex and Featherlite, and needed pre-ramps to clear their stock ramps. Finally got 8' ramps, and that worked fine. On my enclosed trailer, I had to get long lengths of 2 x 12s to get the clearance.

Awesome! I love that pic (is it Kevin M?) with the cayenne pulling the 996 on a trailer with Porsche rims!

Trailex 8045 works perfect for me. its true you need about a 2' piece of a 2x6 to get the lip up so it will not rub. but the 8045 comes with 8' ramps so its not bad. its 21' long 900lbs.

Whatever trailer you get, get an electric winch to pull the car onto the trailer with (should be an option from most trailer manufacturers). That way you're standing on the side of the trailer and can keep an eye on the clearances.

trailex is the best, period.
however, with RS ride ht, no matter what trailer you get, you need a very long ramp.

It's very easy to remove the chin spoiler from the RS before you load it onto a trailer. One screw on each side and it snaps off.

Thanks John. I wonder if there is a local Trailex dealer around. I looked on their website but seems closest ones are boat stores????
