HRE C93's on a 3

Thanks a bunch again to Alex at Sharkwerks for spending hours with me looking at and discussing wheel ****.

First result is these HRE C93's with glittery charcoal centers and polished lips. Knocked 30 pounds of unsprung rotating mass off the car (10 pounds per rear wheel, 5 pounds per front).

that is drop-dead gorgeous Not to mention the neat weight savings... I need to update mine from the C-21s to the C-93s myself. That extra pound on the spokes!

They are beautiful wheels. Congrats.

By what you described the front/ rear weight should be about 20 & 21 lbs.
That is awesome.
I have always preferred the gunmetal or charcoal finish on my wheels.

Enjoy them

Correct me if I am wrong but each pound of unsprung weight is equal to 7 pounds of sprung weight. If this is correct then you shaved 210 pounds of off your mass! Nice job.

BTW the wheels look awesome as well!

The ratio of unsprung weight is more like 3:1.

Cheers,

very sharp! and the weight savings are amazing! I think juan might have it right though. I heard the ratio is more like 3:1, but I could be wrong.
