Are 996 GT3 garage queens of interest anymore?

Seems everyone wants 997 GT3's. I have an '04 Arctic Silver 996 GT3 just sitting in my garage. One of 5 cars I own, and I feel bad that it seldom gets driven.
It has never seen any track time, no rain, never sat outside in the sun, or night air, full maintenance, etc.. all that psycho over the top owner stuff.
I charge the battery now and then, and only drive it when I can drive it far enough to get it up to operating temp. (no "fire it up and move it 50 feet" type stuff).
Originally from Champion Porsche in FL, $118 sticker, all the good options.
I added a Europipe exhaust with 200 cell racing cats, otherwise no mods.
Only 8200 miles.
Is there much interest in these cars lately?
I kind of hate to sell it, but I also hate to have it just sit.

Steve B,
I'm certain that there is a buyer out there looking for a car like yours, but it really depends on your asking price. I have been watching the market and most are moving at low to mid 70's. As a fellow owner I say hold out for high 70's if you are not in a hurry. Have a look for yourself:

after handling more than 20 GT3 transactions, i can tell you that your car will sell in mid 70's with very little problem.
anythings above that, you'll have to be patient.
at high 60's, you'll move it in a few hours.

Probably $80k with the exhaust (and stock one too) would be about right. Of course, it will take someone who is really looking for this exact car, in this kind of condition.
In that case, it's a good deal compared to what a new one would cost.

Well the answer is yes.....
Right now I have three P cars in the stable but unlike most of the posters on this forum I don't have the disposable cash to throw down on the big ticket cars. I need to plan, save take incremental steps and do my dreaming over time. In a few years your car would be exactly what I will looking for. Not sure if I will sell the 993 or the Slant to get one but one of them will have to go.
Very clean, original cars are what I look for. Right now I can take some consolation in knowing that the garage isn't empty...

I would agree with the others - there will definitely be interest for the right price, probably mid 70s ish. Second owners are picking up the garage queens and taking them straight to the track...6GT3's natural habitat
Greatest bargain for an incredible track car going now IMO.

Greatest bargain for an incredible track car going now IMO.I don't need my life anymore complicated than it already is, so I'm not even going to go near a 997, or I'd likely get divorced. I love my M3 and I'll keep it indefinitely as a track car, but I think a 6GT3 would be a perfect introduction to the Porsche mark.
My wife, who is in her mid-30's, decided she wanted to go back and get her Master's degree, so right now I'm busy eating some ridiculous tuition bills....it's my master plan to get into a 997 GT3 faster

I expect to see ALOT of 6GT3's at the track in the next couple years, especially as more begin to drop into low to mid 60's.
