What is the going price for a new 997 GT2 purchased from a dealer? Is it going to demand premiums like the GT3RS did?

Indeed, but i think they'll drop a bit in a short period of time....

 

250K is the number I have seen at a couple of So Cal dealers. I don't know if they are actually getting it.

 

maybe not new...but isn't the going rate for F430's about that much?

 

2005 430 coupes can be had for the very low 200...Strads have started to surpase them in price....

Very slightly over list.

 

I have seen several sitting around dealerships for 45-50K over MSRP. I also noticed a couple of recent auctions on Ebay where the auction closed without reaching the reserve with the bids topping out at 235k and 238k. Is the over market price softening on the GT2 since the first ones hit the dealers? Will it continue to demand the premium that the RS did? I ask because I have an opportunity to purchase brand new at 40K over but I am having second thoughts.

 

You should, be more patient, the prices will drop soon...

 

maybe in a year or 2....but like the RS will still have a over sticker price...
