PETSHRK Project begins !! ;)

....
car looks amazing.. I used to live just down the street from there 30 buckingham drv to be exact. Had to drive by there every day to work and they always had a silver one in the show room. It was so sad to see my dream car every day and know I would never be able to own or even drive one
.. Enjoy it man.. I'd literally give a body part for a moment in that machine..

oh that sound... I can't imagine having it in my garage... I've already gone back twice to watch (listen) to the youtube video... I can't imagine how addicting it is in the flesh. I think I'd have trouble sleeping at night.
So whilst this isnt the first CGT this board has seen, for one of our own and original highly respected members to get his dream car, it is a pretty darn awesome thing, and definitely worth celebrating, posting and commenting about.
So show a little respect, and if you can't, shut the **** up.
Long before you or alot of the people commenting in this thread joined this forum, fred was modifying his 996TT Techart, and documenting the build on this forum ( wasnt there a sweet M3 cab in there as well? ) In recent years Fred has commented on his dream to own a Carrera GT, and finally after numerous deviations from his path he has achieved his goal.

If someone expresses their opinion by saying they need to contradict what others are saying, then let it happen (after all, that's what you seem to be trying to do, but you're pushing someone else down instead of voicing your own thoughts.) If the person starting the thread wants to reply or discuss their own choices, that's all for the good, but let's not shout down the dissenting voice.
Whoops. You had me right up until you expressed the opinion that if someone can't fit in, they should get out. That's just plain wrong.

The poster whom my post was in response to was out of line, there was no need for him to post what he did. Perhaps its because he's Australian (they generally have an inferiority complex ), so guess i should cut him some slack there. And i never said he should get out, i said that if he has nothing positive to stay, then shut up and dont post in the thread.
If he has nothing positive to say, then yes, my final comment from my original post stands.
Dr Phil hands the mic back to Oprah
: )
You're entitled to your opinion; but it's not for you or anyone short of the site or forum moderator to deal with censoring posts -- that's part of what I was trying to suggest you consider as fair for everyone who posts at any given forum site within the lines of not being hateful or going beyond conventional boundaries (such as racism or attempting to defame whole nations of people.)
I tend to agree, but there was also no need for you to post something even more offensive.
Really? Aussies have inferiority complexes? "Generally." Really? News to me.
Given the only form of presence (being "here") is by posting -- or as a sponsor or advertiser, I guess -- then demanding that someone not post is entirely equivalent to demanding that they stay out.
If he has nothing positive to say, then yes, my final comment from my original post stands.
Well, then we've made excellent progress -- you can see the error of your ways and all you did was attempt to add more fuel to the fire and insult a whole nation just based on the location someone includes in their profile regardless of their nationality.
If someone wants to make fun of a thread (especially another thread revolving around one of Fred's seemingly endless parade of rampant consumerism cars) and point out the obviously sycophantic posts that tend to follow some would-be "personalities" on this site, it seems to me you're taking it all a bit too seriously. After all, most folks here never even post their real identity. I guess I should introduce myself; I'm Adam. Also from Australia. : )

Come on now ladies, your detracting from the real point of this thread - the uninterrupted adulation of everything freds incredible, perfectly sculpted butt happens to touch ... I would love to stay and chat but I hear my sheepstiality, sorry I mean inferiority, complex calling
I'll answer that.....
The answer is yes.... *YES* which is why an enthusiast would acquire the CGT in the first place. These kinds of cars are a hobby, a rounding error when everything else has been acquired. This is another incredible modification adventure for a guy who has done much bigger things before. Haven't met one of these owners who isn't insanely focused which is why the cars tend to sit around a lot (being upgraded) while the owners are pretty slammed with their primary commitments... that normally involves a similar level of high-level strategic killing in some other venue that doesn't involve toys like this. Same guy picks up his car for some high-speed relaxation (killing everything in sight with it ~ in some other venue *like racing* besides their day to day work) and then returning to that work afterwards. Marines/Navy Seals/Mercenaries painting churches? Nope... It's essential to not deviate from the primary directive. Fred, your CGT kills. Now the learning curve is finally steep enough. You know Leno spun his CGT and almost put it into the wall @ 190mph.

Fred, TechArt Offers a Carbon Front Spoiler, Carbon Front Bumper Grill, and Carbon 3-Piece Spoiler for the CGTs
Here is a yellow one we did a while back....

Here is the TechArt Project CGT Custom Painted Metallic Orange (that was shipped from Germany to the US for the 2006 SEMA Show as a TechArt vehicle, then as some of you may have heard was shipped back to Europe by the owner and converted into a Gamballa Mirage GT, and shipped back to the US for display at the H&R Booth at the 2007 SEMA Show, and from my understanding recently sent back home to Europe haha)
