PETSHRK Project begins !! ;)
Speedshaq, you disappoint me
You think I would not do that. That was the first thing I ordered even before the steering wheel
MA Carbon is about 4 weeks out on one for me. $450 vs $1200 OEM

Thanks again everyone!!
All I can say after driving this car is " PetFrog " who??? Seriously this car is intoxicating. If you thought the Frog sounded sick, this is simply in another league. More like an F1 sound!
As for those who have asked what additional mods are planned, they are as follows:

As for those who have asked what additional mods are planned, they are as follows:
- CF shift **** - been on order from MA Carbon (3-4 weeks out)
- OEM 6 Point Harness set - found a set and we just need to make sure belts are not expired
- Custom tuned software
- Valentine 1 hard wire install
- Silver Hood Crest - has been ordered and 1 week out
My mistake, i remember now... What software you'll have?
Thanks again everyone!!

How much?
...and do they do custom stitiching options?
Would love to put one on my CGT ..especialy if I can get the right guards red stitiching to match the rest of the interior.

Fred, I must say that you of all people truly deserve this machine. For all that you have done on all of the previous machines, it is only appropriate that you made it to the top of the mountain now. No place else to go!! Big Congratulations to you and enjoy in the best of health and spirits!!!
Thanks for that pic. Did you do the graphic?
It seems like only yesterday, but the Carrera GT has already been too many years on the road -- doing anything unique or original with a Carrera GT is going to be tough.
I hope this buyer managed a good buy -- with prices creeping back to the original MSRP, the handful of cars remaining in the US secondary market are reflecting the dollar.
And thanks to "Don Relentless" on this site for pointing out one of the tasteful updates for the Carrera GT -- the change to the fairing behind the front wheels (without changing the rocker panel covers, I'd say) really freshens up the appearance of the car.
It's amazing to think that car is already five years old since Geneva '03, a concept shown in 2000 and the engine dating back to the early 90's. I guess it was originally penned (from the GT1 if I understand it correctly) around the same time and by the same people replacing the 993 with the 996. In terms of longevity, this is still a relatively "young" car for Porsche. I wonder if Porsche's emissions problems will force it to further waylay the successor to the Carrera GT.
Ferrari is speaking in terms of lighter cars to address emissions legislation. Hopefully Porsche will take the same cue.
